How does Spectra work?

Our Spectra lasers use beams that target pigmentation on the skin. The heat within this laser beam shatters the pigment and draws it to the surface. From here the pigment will naturally shed and minimise in appearance within seven to fourteen days.

Pigmentation and Melasma treatment

Melasma is a common skin concern for women who experience excessive sun exposure or hormonal changes such as pregnancy. No matter the cause, melasma can affect an individual’s confidence. Each client may need a different number of sessions depending on the severity of their pigmentation, on average we recommend 6-10 sessions to provide sessions for the best results. 

Most clients of ours share that they don’t find our Spectra Laser Toning treatments particularly painful, but rather more of a warming and a tingling sensation. After your session you may experience some redness to your skin, the added bonus to these treatments is there is no downtime. However, we do recommend a minimum of a four week break until you book in for your next treatment.
