Lip Fillers Newcastle

Bring Sexy Back with a Beautiful Pout

Plumper, fuller lips have been desired across the ages, signifying youth and sexuality, and cosmetic injectables treating volume loss and thin lips continue to be one of our most popular treatments. Facial rejuvenation is a sensitive process that requires knowledge, accuracy and experience. It is an investment in your skin and well-being, and it pays to be wary when choosing who to trust to care for your face and restore volume to your lips.

Our highly-experienced doctor, Dr Khan, specialises in dermal filler treatments to achieve a youthful appearance and healthy skin. He has helped a wide range of clients achieve lush lips with flattering, natural results every time. All lip fillers we use in our clinic are medical-grade and certified for safer, longer-lasting results.

How Dermal Filler Treatments Work

The main ingredient in lip filler is a type of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the body and when injected, it usually dissipates. However, the HA used in lip treatments has been structurally altered to prevent this. By injecting HA into the lips, adding volume and shape to the lips to create a fuller pout and a more defined lip line.

The procedure itself takes 30 minutes and can be carried out with numbing cream to reduce any discomfort. You’ll see immediate results after your lip filler injections, but keep in mind they may look larger at first due to swelling and this will go down. They may also be a little red and tender in treatment areas.

This type of dermal filler treatment is not a permanent lip treatment. The cosmetic injectables and added volume can last anywhere from 6-18 months. The longevity of your dermal filler injections will depend on the product selected and factors unique to you and your body.

Are fillers and injections painful?

In short, yes. Due to the method of treatment, fillers and injections are expected to be painful, however, the sensation of these treatments are often described as a slight pinch or sting. This can differ from person to person, and also depends on the treatment area and how sensitive they are to the numbing solution provided.

How old do I have to be to get fillers?

We do not offer lip filler injectables to anyone under the age of 18.

How do anti-wrinkle injections work?

Anti-wrinkle injections work by injecting the skin with a formula to relax the muscles in the face, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This has no effect on the function of the muscles to disturb the expression of emotions.

Anti-wrinkle injections will take up to two weeks to see the full effect. However, for the rest of our injections, you will experience some swelling after your injections, after that subsides your true results will be revealed within 3-5 days.

Are there any side effects to fillers or injections?

The following 24 hours after your treatment it is not uncommon to experience some bruising and swelling around the treatment area. Tenderness is expected and will decrease over the next few days.

What aftercare is required for Fillers or Injections?

Aftercare is important to ensure the desired results for your treatment. Remaining upright for up to 4 hours following your treatment ensures your filler will stay in the desired place. To prevent excess bruising avoid drinking alcohol or taking ibuprofen before and soon after your treatment. It is also recommended to avoid skin treatments like microdermabrasion and skin needling for roughly two weeks to avoid disruption of the filler.
