How does pigmentation removal treatment work?

Our Lutronic Clarity and Spectra lasers emit a beam that’s attracted to and absorbed by pigmentation. The heat generated by the laser shatters the pigment and draws it to the surface of your skin, where it will fade and naturally shed within seven to 14 days.

You might experience some mild redness after the treatment and some of your pigmentation may darken before it sheds. The number of treatments you’ll need depends on your skin. We always recommend a minimum of four weeks between appointments.

Pre-treatment care is required before your appointments. This includes avoiding the sun for two weeks, as well as peels, waxing and tanning. You should also avoid topical vitamin A a week before.


