Frequently Asked Questions

Will I end up with big, obvious "done" lips?

That’s exactly what this approach avoids. Dr Faisal works to balance and definition, not size – often doing less than people expect. The aim is lips that look like your own, just rested.

I only want a tiny bit - is that a thing?

Absolutely, and it’s the most common request here. A very subtle enhancement, or simply evening things up, is completely valid – and Dr Faisal will happily keep it that light.

Can uneven lips actually be evened up?

Often, yes. Symmetry is one of the most common things people come in for. Dr Faisal assesses your lips in proportion to each other and your face, and will tell you honestly what’s realistic.

Does it hurt?

It’s quick, and most people find it very manageable. And if you’re nervous, you don’t have to just grit your teeth – we have numbing cream and relaxing “happy gas” available to keep you comfortable.

Is there any downtime?

Usually very little. Some swelling, tenderness or a little bruising in the first day or two is normal and settles soon after. Dr Faisal covers aftercare with you.

How long does it last?

It’s not permanent – the effect softens gradually over time, so there’s no long-term commitment. Dr Faisal will cover timing at your consultation.

How much does it cost?

What if you think I don't need anything?

Then he’ll tell you. If your lips are better left alone, or another approach suits you better, you’ll get an honest recommendation either way – that’s the point of starting with a consultation.
